Josh O'Connor Joins Emily Blunt In ‘The Dish’, Steven Spielberg’s New UFO Film - News Reelz

Josh O'Connor has lined up his next gig. Fresh off of Challengers and landing a supporting role in the next Knives Out film (Wake Up Dead Man), the actor is joining Emily Blunt in the Steven Spielberg’s super-secretive UFO movie, rumored to be titled The Dish.
When Blunt was circling the role, it was described as a "two-hander," meaning she would be one of the two leads. The same is being said of O'Connor's role, meaning Blunt will take on the female lead while O'Connor will be her leading man, potentially.
Not a lot is known about the film, but we do know he's reteaming with his Jurassic Park scribe David Koepp on the project. It's also looking at a May 15th, 2026 release. Also, during the most recent IMAX Investors Presentation, there was a conspicuously placed May 2026 Universal Pictures project entitled… yes… The Dish.
