I’m not much into the Star Wars animated series, led for the most part by Dave Filoni, or at least he has a big hand in the creation of these shows. Filoni has also been working on the Disney+ corner of Star Wars, including a new movie based on The Mandalorian, which I’m personally pretty excited for. I know a few people who do watch The Bad Batch, which is a spin-off from the original Clone Wars series, and it’s apparently supposed to be very good.

I tried to see any kind of plot details, but Disney is actually keeping the final season of The Bad Batch under lock-and-key pretty well. So, I’ll just report what Disney released themselves: “The Batch will have their limits tested in the fight to reunite with Omega as she faces challenges of her own inside a remote Imperial science lab. With the group fractured and facing threats from all directions, they will have to seek out unexpected allies, embark on dangerous missions, and muster everything they have learned to free themselves from the Empire.” As someone who didn’t know anything about The Bad Batch before writing this and reading up on it, the idea of a bunch of Clones wanting to free themselves from the Empire is an interesting concept, and I’m willing to catch up on it at some point, if I have the time.

The third and final season of The Bad Batch starts with its first three episodes dropping on February 21st, 2024 with the rest of its episodes dropping weekly until May 1st on Disney+.
