Rumor: Ben Affleck Might Be Playing Hulk Hogan In A New Film- News Reelz

In what may just be the strangest bit of casting news in recent memory, PWInsider.com is reporting that Ben Affleck may be playing WWE Legend Hulk Hogan in an upcoming film.

Tentatively titled Killing Gawker, the film tells the story of Hogan’s lawsuit against gossip site Gawker after they published a sex tape of the wrestler. Hogan won that lawsuit and the site shut down. Said lawsuit was funded by billionaire Peter Thiel, the cofounder of PayPal, and Matt Damon is rumored to be portraying him for the film.

The project has been gestating for quite a bit with Artist Equity, Affleck and Damon’s production company, now taking the reigns for an early 2025 production.
