The fourth episode of Loki opens with he who remains, Ms Minutes and Renslayer. She’s showing them a vision of them talking to each other about the end of time. He calls her quite a marvel and says he’d love to lead with her. That she’s made a difference in this war. She leaves back to the TVA and he stays behind to talk with Miss Minutes. He tells her to erase Renslayer’s memories to erase everyone’s memories. We cut back to the main timeline. Renslayer is shocked to know that she helped He Who Remains win the war. Miss Minutes wants to convince Renslayer that they don’t need He Who Remains. 

Timely appears at the TVA sees the mural of himself on the wall and begins walking the halls. Loki and Mobius approach and ask him to come with them to show him something. They say what he’s heard from Miss Minutes and Renslayer are all lies. He says everyone wants something from him and he should have some say. Loki tells him he’s the only one that can help him fix his Loom. 

Loki ushers Timely to OB and he seems to recognize him. They talk for a second and they say their works are based on each other's works. They’re fans of each other. OB says they have a plan for the looms. He says they have to put the Throughput into the launcher and hit a green button to launch it into the loom, once it docks it will scale the loom's capacity. That will help fix all the branches where he who remains was killed. They have to make the rings bigger so that the branches can fit through. OB tells them that there’s much more radiation than when Mobius first tracked through it in episode one. Mobius jokes that hopefully Loki doesn’t get hurt going through it this time. They talk through other potential solutions when Timely shows OB what he’s made. He says they don’t have time to use his creation as it’s a time-sensitive issue. 

Sylvie is upset that Mobius suggests eating pie while OB and Timely work. We cut to Brad amongst the other TVA prisoners. He’s trying to rally them into escaping. No one is giving him the time of day. DOX is upset that Brad sold out their plan. He says he’s earned his life and doesn’t want to waste it. The door opens and B-15 says she doesn’t want any of this. She says she wants their help to defend the TVA from Renslayer. Dox doesn’t trust her, and B-15 says she doesn’t have a choice but to do so. 

Sylvie and Loki talk amongst themselves, she’s upset that Mobius is so nonchalant. Loki says Sylvie’s only back at the TVA because she couldn’t kill Timely. Loki tells Sylvie a story about Thor after he was banished from Asgard to Earth in the original Thor. He tells her that she spared a lot of people’s lives. She blames the TVA for the countless deaths because of the branches being pruned. She wants to abolish the TVA. Instead, Loki wants to fix it from the inside. Loki says this is the only option they have. Loki says he wants to do better than He Who Remains for the world. Sylvie says it sounds like he’s playing god, but that’s what they are. 

Renslayer and Miss Minutes emerge into the room full of TVA prisoners. Renslayer wants to recruit the prisoners by promising them a life on the timeline. No one reacts and she boxes them in and shrinks the box, killing them. Only Brad stood with her. B-15 goes into the room later to discover what happened. She goes onto her tempad and her access isn’t granted. 

Timely and OB continue working and it seems like their plan is coming together. Timely asks what Mobius is drinking and when he tells him hot cocoa he’s flabbergasted. Timely has to see the hot chocolate machine himself. The guard that took him has a sip and is immediately pruned from behind by Brad, he makes Timely take him to where he’s working with OB. OB sees that Miss Minutes has taken control of the tempads. 

Everyone comes together and realizes that Renslayer is back. Brad brings Timely to Resnlayer for interrogation. He says thank god you guys are okay. She asks where the device is, and before he answers we cut to the device booting up. Loki and Sylvie are on the run looking for Renslayer as Miss Minutes slows them down by manipulating the elevators. Mayhem ensues at the TVA with everyone sprinting through the halls. Loki finds.. himself approaching the elevator and approaches slowly to prune him. Sylvie is flabbergasted. He says I promise this will make sense as he reaches for the phone that was ringing. OB asks what’s been taking so long, and Loki tells them to turn it off. 

Timely is explaining the ins and outs of the machine to Renslayer and she knows he’s stalling. Miss Minutes is losing her connection to the machine. She says she needs to tell Timely something and she begins cutting in and out. She says You’ll never be him and then fades away. Loki takes control of Brad to prune Renslayer and rescue Timely. 

Timely volunteers to go into the machine. They tell him how quickly he needs to work to get this done. Timely suits up and enters, as he does he evaporates into thin air immediately. Everyone is shocked. The radiation zapped him. There’s a looming light approaching them and the episode ends before we know anyone’s fate. 

This episode was intriguing throughout, especially with the cliffhanger at the very end. With the multiverse element who knows if this version of the characters all died in that moment, I doubt it, but it’s certainly possible. The next episode is shaping up to be a great one.
