From Gaius Bolling
Joseph Quinn is stacking up more roles following the recent announcement that he was a part of the cast of the MCU's Fantastic 4. It has been announced that the actor is in talks to join A24’s new untitled war film that Ray Mendoza and Alex Garland are co-directing.
This marks the second collaboration for Garland and Mendoza, who served as the military supervisor for Garland’s latest film Civil War set for release April 12. in addition to serving as co-directors, the duo also co-wrote the script. Beyond this, details are being shrouded in secrecy about the project, although May December's Charles Melton is also set to star.
Joseph Quinn is very much a star on the rise. He stole scenes as Eddie Munson in the most recent season of Netflix’s hit series Stranger Things and he has began to turn that into a robust film career. He has A Quiet Place: Day One, the first spin-off in the popular franchise that is set to bow this June, on deck first. He follows that up playing one of the twin Emperors in Ridley Scott’s Gladiator sequel, which also stars Paul Mescal and opens this November. Fantastic 4 will shoot later this year which leaves him available to do the Mendoza/Garland project.
