The South By Southwest (SXSW) Film & TV Festival has kicked off in Austin, Texas and Sean Chandler Talks About is on the ground attending some of the biggest premieres and happenings.
With Immaculate comes the star power of Sydney Sweeney as a nun who joins a remote Italian convent that is home to sinister forces and unspeakable horrors. Early word on the film from critics is that the first half is familiar while the third act goes off the rails in a memorable way.
Immaculate stars Sydney Sweeney (Euphoria, the upcoming Madame Web), Simona Tabasco (The White Lotus, Perez.), Álvaro Morte (Money Heist, The Wheel of Time), Benedetta Porcaroli (Amanda, Tutte le mie notti), Dora Romano (The Hand of God, Mafia Mamma), Giampiero Judica (All the Money in the World, Secret Invasion), and Giorgio Colangeli (Mindemic, L'aria salata).
Immaculate comes to theaters on March 22nd, 2024.
