Camila Mendes To Play Teela In Live-Action ‘Masters of the Universe’ Film - News Reelz

Amazon MGM's live-action Masters of the Universe has found its Teela. It has been announced that Camila Mendes has landed the role and will star opposite the previously announced Nicholas Galitzine, who will play He-Man.
According to the character description, "Teela, is a warrior who as Captain of Eternia’s Royal Guard, is responsible for protecting the royal family, especially Prince Adam aka He-Man." The official plot of the film is being kept under wraps, but we do know Travis Knight (Bumblebee) is directing the film from a screenplay by Chris Butler. The film opens June 5th, 2026.
