After chatting with filmmaker Jay Silverman about the new film Camera, telling the tale of a young non-verbal boy named Oscar (played by Miguel Gabriel) who finds an unlikely friend and mentor in an old repairman named Eric (Beau Bridges), I needed to know more! Through the friendship that develops and a mutual passion for photography (something that Jay knows a lot about given his lengthy career in the field), Oscar finds his voice and impacts the larger community. I recently had the pleasure of chatting with members of the cast and crew (listed below, to chat about their experiences making the film and the overall message of the story.

  • Jay Silverman (Director)

  • Andrew Jeric (DP)

  • Miguel Gabriel (Cast)

  • Bruce Davison (Cast)

  • Jorge-Luis Pallo (Cast)

  • Scotty Tovar (Cast)

  • Jessica Parker Kennedy (Cast)

Check out the trailer for the film here, watch the interview below, and don’t miss Camera, available now via on demand or digital!
