Sabine is lying in a hospital bed and tells Ahsoka that the droids destroyed everything from the records on the map. Sabine sounds apologetic but Ahsoka doesn’t want to hear it after telling her not to take the map to begin with. Baylan and Shin arrive at another ruinous setting and set the map down on a pillar. He believes they’re at the reflex point on Seatos.

Ahsoka visits Sabine’s place to search for answers. Another droid approaches and Ahsoka takes it out. She brings its head to Sabine to see if she can get any info on the map from it. The droid came from a New Republic shipyard. Baylan is told that the ruins weren’t built by the Jedi. Then Morgan opens the map for them and it reveals Thrawn’s location she says Thrawn calls to her. Shin asks what happens when we find Thrawn. Baylan says “For some war, others a new beginning and power for us.”

Ahsoka and Hera visit the New Republic shipyard. She and Ahsoka if she’d ever bring Sabine back as her apprentice and Ahsoka thinks they’re both past that. The droid working on Sabine asks about her lightsaber and asks if she kept up with her training. She says she couldn’t train because Ahsoka didn’t want to help her.

Ahsoka and Hera need to have a document unsealed and the supervisor is refusing to help them out. A ship is attempting to leave the yard that has a droid carrying the information they’re looking for. They try to stop it from taking off but it’s too late. Hera pursues the ship as Ahsoka fights off two more droids on the ground. She takes them out but the last one boards Shin’s ship and flies away. Hera is still pursuing the droid in the air and through hyperspace. She finally gets a tracking device onto the ship.

Sabine goes home after the hospital and observes her Mandalorian uniform and puts it on.

The supervisor at the shipyard is arrested as they still waiting for updated tracking details from the droid they’re pursuing. Ahsoka boards get ship and gets a message from Sabine telling her she’s ready. Ahsoka picks up Sabine and they’re off to Seatos as that’s the coordinates of the droid being tracked. Morgan tells Baylan to find Ahsoka and kill her. He says that’s a shame because there are so few Jedi left as the episode ends.

The first two episodes were heavy on exposition but it never felt like a drag. I was intrigued throughout. Most of the Disney + shows deliver two really good episodes to start and then the show will fade off quickly. Ahsoka is establishing an interesting story that has hooked me so far. I’m excited to see Baylan and Ahsoka cross paths.

New episodes of Ahsoka debut on Disney+ every Tuesday night.
