Aaron Taylor-Johnson Reportedly Offered Role As New James Bond - News Reelz
From Joe Peltzer
With Daniel Craig departing the role of James Bond after 2021’s No Time to Die, there has been much speculation over who would step into the character’s shoes. Idris Elba, Richard Madden, and Taron Egerton were all floated, among others.
Now, according to a report from The Sun, Kick-Ass star Aaron Taylor-Johnson has been chosen as the successor, reportedly receiving the offer, though he has yet to accept it. The outlet indicates that Taylor-Johnson is expected to sign the contract in the coming days with an announcement forthcoming and a script in development for his first outing.
Just 33 years old (thus making sense as the character given producers likely want to lock him into multiple films), Taylor-Johnson will star in the upcoming Sony/Marvel film Kraven the Hunter after turns in big budget films such as Bullet Train, The King’s Man, and Avengers: Age of Ultron. He will also feature in the much buzzed about The Fall Guy this May.
