A ‘Freaky Friday’ Sequel Is Happening, Says Lindsay Lohan - News Reelz
From Joe Peltzer
There has been talk of a follow-up to Disney’s hit 2003 film (and remake) Freaky Friday for quite some time, but now we have confirmation via Lindsay Lohan herself. Lohan starred in the film opposite Jamie Lee Curtis, their characters swapping bodies in the mother-daughter family comedy.
Lohan was on Andy Cohen’s SiriusXM show this morning where, when asked about a timeline for the film (in a somewhat leading question), she stated “I won’t say that yet. I don’t want to say too much.” She went on to say “We are both excited. I’m gonna speak for Jamie.”
Speaking for herself a few years back on The View, Jamie lee Curtis had shared that she was open to the idea of a sequel.
