And it doesn’t seem to be related to Armie Hammer’s off-screen troubles. Taika Waititi’s next film Next Goal Wins, following a disastrous American Samoa soccer team as the World Cup approaches, recently held reshoots. According to Deadline, Hammer wasn’t available and was instead replaced by Will Arnett, who will play a Football Federation American Samoa executive. Michael Fassbender and Elizabeth Moss also star. Hammer was accused early last year of sending messages to women that detailed questionable sexual fantasies. As the actor dropped out of project after project, the LAPD named Hammer as a suspect in an alleged sexual assault investigation which the actor will not be charged in.
