Hot off of his debut film Pig, which starred Nicholas Cage, director Michael Sarnoski has been snagged for the spin-off of A Quiet Place, per Deadline. Jeff Nichols was previously attached to the film, but left the project late last year. Apparently franchise creator John Krasinski saw Pig and immediately became interested in Sarnoski. What the film will actually be about is anybody’s guess; Krasinski came up with the idea for it, which isn’t expected to star himself nor Emily Blunt. Sources further say that Sarnoski’s pitch was within the tone of the franchise, but still something fresh.
