According to IGN, a live-action film adaptation of the Capcom game Mega Man is in development at Netflix. How did the news come about? Well, production company Supermarché may have let the cat out of the bag on their website where the film is referenced as being written and directed by Henry Joost and Ariel Schulman. The two had been confirmed to direct and write the film when it was set at 20th Century Fox, but it looks like things got shuffled after the Disney acquisition. The film was first announced back in 2018. No further details are available.
