Go Go Netflix wallets, apparently. After learning some time ago that the End of the F***king World‘s Jonathan Entwistle was taking the helm of Power Ranges with another reboot, this time set in the 1990s, Deadline reports that much more is on the way. According to the outlet, “multiple series and movies” are in the works at the streamer, seemingly confirming that the aforementioned film is no longer set at Paramount Pictures. In a join statement from eOne President of Global Television Michael Lombardo and Film President Nick Meyer, the pair said “Jonathan has an incredible creative vision for this iconic and hugely successful franchise, and is hands down the right architect to join us as we reimagine the television and film worlds of this property.” Lombardo also shared that “it’s not just one show, it is shows followed by films, some kids’ programming.” The last reboot, 2017’s Power Rangers, greatly underperformed and was panned by many for the retooling of the property’s origin story.
