Word broke last week that Patty Jenkins’ upcoming Star Wars: Rogue Squadron movie was experiencing scheduling conflicts leading to a delay of the film. According to new reports, that may not be the full story. Insider Matthew Belloni shared in his most recent newsletter that the director is experiencing “creative differences” with Lucasfilm regarding the script. Belloni points out that this is common under Kathleen Kennedy’s leadership as Lucasfilm’s president and that Jenkins is just not putting up with it, essentially. Doesn’t sound good.
