Christopher Nolan’s ‘Oppenheimer’ Adds Robert Downey Jr., Matt Damon, And Emily Blunt

Christopher Nolan’s next film, Oppenheimer is set to star Cillian Murphy as the titular scientist who was influential in the creation of the atomic bomb. Now, according to Deadline, the cast is growing with the additions of Robert Downey Jr. and Matt Damon. In addition, Emily Blunt is expected to join the cast. No further details about their roles are available. The script is bring written by Nolan and is based on the Pulitzer Prize-winning book American Prometheus: The Triumph and Tragedy of J. Robert Oppenheimer. The film is being marketed as an IMAX-shot project and is set to debut in theaters on July 21, 2023.
