The battle over Black Widow profits between Disney and Scarlett Johansson has ended before even stepping into court. Both parties shared statements today indicating that a settlement has been reached with Disney having paid out reportedly $40 million+, according to Deadline. The wildest part? It sounds like Johansson will once again be working with the company moving forward as the actress stated ”I’m incredibly proud of the work we’ve done together over the years and have greatly enjoyed my creative relationship with the team. I look forward to continuing our collaboration in years to come.” Disney, in their own statement, added that they “look forward to working together on a number of upcoming projects, including Disney’s Tower of Terror.”” So, as they say, rumors of the hotel movie’s demise have been greatly exaggerated.
