Studios seem to be all about the reimagining/remake/reboot of older films recently and Paramount Pictures is getting in on the fun. The studio has tapped Bridgerton star Regé-Jean Page to lead the new film from writer Kwame Kwei-Armah. The 1997 film, adapted from the 1920s book of the same name, starred Val Kilmer as a thief who, using Roman Catholic aliases, robs from the rich, gives to the poor, and keeps a bit for himself. Think a more entrepreneurial Robin Hood.
