Zoë Kravitz Sets Directorial Debut ‘Pussy Island’ With Channing Tatum Set To Star

Zoë Kravitz will make her directorial debut with Pussy Island, a film that she cowrote with E.R. Feigenbaum, per Deadline. Channing Tatum has signed on to star as Slater King, a tech mogul/philanthropist who catches the eye of Frida, “a young, clever, Los Angeles cocktail waitress.” The synopsis continues “When she skillfully maneuvers her way into King’s inner circle and ultimately an intimate gathering on his private island, she is ready for a journey of a lifetime. Despite the epic setting, beautiful people, ever-flowing champagne and late-night dance parties, Frida can sense that there’s more to this island than meets the eye. Something she can’t quite put her finger on. Something terrifying.” Kravitz is said to have recruited Tatum for the role and developed the script alongside him. Production begins next year.
