Snyder, Terrio Share Alternate ‘Batman V Superman’ Titles

Appearing at Justice Con over the weekend, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice director Zack Snyder and writer Chris Terrio spoke a bit about alternate titles that the film may have had if Warner Bros. had not pushed for what we have today. “Guys, can’t we just do something like Son of Sun and Knight of Night, or something that’s a little bit more poetic?” Snyder asked (via ComingSoon.net). Terrio went on to discuss how there was talk of using Justice League in the title to further communicate that the film was the preface of something bigger, titles “like ‘Justice League: Foundations,’ or ‘Justice League: Rising.’” In the end, once it was decided that “versus” would be swapped out for simply “v,” the rest became history.
