‘Hamilton’ Star Renée Elise Goldsberry Joins ‘She-Hulk’

We love to see a Broadway star make the leap to the comicbook world! Renée Elise Goldsberry, who originated the roll of Angelica Schuyler in the Broadway smash-hit Hamilton, has joined the cast of Disney+’s She-Hulk. She will be portraying a character named Amelia, though nothing more is known. Per ComingSoon.net:

In the comics, Amelia Voght and Amelia Hopkins were the only notable Marvel characters that have a connection with the Jade Giant. Voght is known as a mutant and a S.W.O.R.D. agent who had a few run-ins with She-Hulk. Meanwhile, Hopkins was a character that only appeared in the solo She-Hulk comics. However, it’s still possible that neither of said characters will appear in the MCU series as Goldsbery’s Amelia might be a code name for a secret Marvel character, or might also be an entirely new character created just for the series.
