DC’s ‘The Flash’ Adds One, Loses One

2022’s The Flash is shaping up to be a powerhouse of a film with Ben Affleck and Michael Keaton returning as their respective Batman characters, Kiersey Clemons reprising her role of Iris West from Zack Snyder’s Justice League, and Sasha Calle bringing Supergirl to the DCEU. Now comes news that actress Maribel Verdú has been cast as Barry Allen’s late mother. However, actor Billy Crudup has reportedly dropped out of the film due to scheduling conflicts and will no longer be portraying Ezra Miller’s character’s father. Will they recast the role or write him out? My money is on the first option.
