After directing this year’s much-talked about film One Night In Miami, Regina King is set to star in Shirley, director John Ridley’s biopic exploring the history-making presidential campaign of Shirley Chisholm. This is one of a handful of projects in the works focusing on Chisholm (Black Panther’s Danai Gurira is starring in another).
