With Mulan‘s Niki Caro in talks to direct, Netflix has landed Jennifer Lopez to star in their upcoming action film The Mother. The film follows an assassin who reemerges to protect a daughter that she had given up years before. Lovecraft Country‘s Misha Green wrote the script.
