If you’re a film fan who also happens to be a gamer, do I have some good news for you! This week saw not one, but two announcements of new games based on popular franchises, as well as the delay of another that has some high expectations.
First, Bethesda and MachineGames shared a teaser of a currently-in-development Indiana Jones video game. Expect an original adventure, developed in collaboration with Lucasfilm. Watch the teaser below.
Speaking of Lucasfilm, their games devision announced the development of a new open-world Star Wars game, in collaboration with Ubisoft. No further details are known at this time, but check out the announcement below.
Finally, the game that is furthest along and was expected to be released this year, Hogwarts Legacy, has been delayed until 2022. The massive role-playing game, which will be the first of the Harry Potter games to be open-world, is coming from Warner Bros.’s Portkey Games and will be set in the 1800s. See the announcement below.
