Netflix has secured the rights to Monster, a film from director Anthony Mandler focused on a young Black boy from Harlem who is charged with felony murder. The film, which first premiered at Sundance in 2018, stars Jennifer Hudson (Dreamgirls), Kevlin Harrison Jr. (The Trial of the Chicago 7), John David Washington (Tenet), and many more. No word on when. it may debut.
