The French thriller My Son is being adapted into an English-language film by STXfilms, with James McAvoy and Claire Foy set to star. Unique about this film is that McAvoy, who will play a father in search of his missing son who heads to the town where his ex-wife (Foy) lives for answers, will improvise much of the role. He will not receive a script, only the basic idea of the story.
