Disney Pushes Back Next Slate Of Films, Including Marvel

As other studios move the release dates of their upcoming films, Marvel Studios has been holding steady with Black Widow‘s upcoming release date… until now. Walt Disney Studios announced the following changes today:

  • Death on the Nile – Originally scheduled for October 23, 2020, now scheduled for December 18, 2020.
  • Black Widow – Originally scheduled for November 6, 2020, now scheduled for May 7, 2021.
  • Deep Water – Originally scheduled for November 13, 2020, now scheduled for August 13, 2021.
  • West Side Story – Originally scheduled for December 18, 2020, now scheduled for December 10, 2021.
  • Eternals – Originally scheduled for February 12, 2021, now scheduled for November 5, 2021.
  • Shang Chi and The Legend of the Ten Rings – Originally scheduled for May 7, 2021, now scheduled for July 9, 2021.

In addition to those moves, two films have actually been moved up:

  • The Empty Man – Originally scheduled for December 4, 2020, now scheduled for October 23, 2020.
  • The King’s Man – Originally scheduled for February 26, 2021, now scheduled for February 12, 2021.
