Fisher Addresses Abuse Allegations Against Whedon At JusticeCon

Appearing during a panel today at JusticeCon 2020, Ray Fisher addressed his statements from earlier this month regarding allegations of abuse from director Joss Whedon while on the set of 2017’s Justice League. Fisher stated that there is currently a “process of making sure that people can tell their stories in a confidential way that they don’t get any sort of retribution done against them.” He further added that Whedon “is scared. He should also be, because we’re going to get to the heart of it.”

One of the producers accused of enabling Whedon’s behavior (along with Geoff Johns), Jon Berg, released a statement to Variety when the allegations first came to light, stating that it was “categorically untrue that we enabled any unprofessional behavior.” Johns and Whedon have remained silent.

Fisher added “if anything I said about that man is untrue, I invite him wholeheartedly to sue me for libel, to sue me for slander.”
