One Night in Miami, the directorial debut of Regina King, has been acquired by Amazon Studios ahead of its screening at the upcoming Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF). The film, adapted from the stage play of the same name, follows Cassius Clay as he celebrates a championship win with notable figures and discusses what would become the civil rights movement.
