David Thewlis (Remus Lupin in the Harry Potter franchise) will appear in Avatar 3 (and beyond) as a Na’vi. Director James Cameron and crew are back in New Zealand ahead of anticipated resuming of production. The long-awaited Avatar 2 is scheduled for release on December 27, 2021.
